All payments sent will be converted to Euro, the currency of the Netherlands (if you reside in an EU country, no conversion is necessary). Your bank will inform you of the exact conversion rate for the day you send your payment. Because currency conversion rates fluctuate daily, we can not estimate an exact amount for you will be paying. You can calculate this amount yourself by using the following site:

Or, you can call your bank and ask for today's conversion rates to the Euro. The chart above lists the amount we must receive from you. For instance, if you are buying 5 dvds, we need to receive 100 euro. If your bank informs you it costs you 150 dollars for us to receive 100 euro, then you would send us 150 dollars.

Orders worldwide, outside the Euro-Zone: Orders are shipped in letter envelopes from the Netherlands, Europe. One disc is placed in a protective tyvek sleeve, taped to a heavy card stock, and put in a greeting card size envelope. Only one item is placed in each envelope, to keep the thickness below what is considered to be a "parcel". Because the items ship as letters, they are not subject to search or being opened. If you order 5 items, you will receive five separate envelopes. We do not ship more than one item per day, so your items will arrive on different days.

Orders to the Euro-Zone countries: parcels are shipped in bubble mailers from the Netherlands, Europe. If you order only one item, it will be packaged as above, for the non-euro zone countries. For multiple item orders, each disc is placed in a protective tyvek sleeve, items are stacked, shrink wrapped, and placed in the poly-mailer for heat-sealing We do not use any tape or adhesive to seal your orders. ANY tampering will be plainly obvious, so if your item arrives taped closed, please report it to us! Customers receiving our new secure parcels willl have the convenience of all items arriving at the same time, and in a much more discreet way. We do not put any indication of our company name or any other text other than our address on the envelope. We send our parcels with tracking, so if they are lost, we will not have to rely on your report alone.

We ship our orders as soon as they arrive in our office (fully funded orders). Mailing times vary, but discs tend to arrive within 2-5 business days for European addresses, and up to 2 weeks for USA/Asia/Australia. The return address on all items is Philip Pijthon, with our company address. We've decided that rather than show our company name, it is more discreet to send them from a "private individual". In Dutch, the letters "ij" replace the letter "y", thus "Python" is spelled incorrectly as "Pijthon".

We recognize that your item may be confiscated by your government's postal system (or stolen by a postal carrier). If you fail to receive any one item within 45 days of mailing your payment to us, we will replace up to one disc at no charge, after that time has passed. Multiple complaints of missing items will require payment of a re-shipment charge of 10€ (or equivalent currency conversion for other payment methods) per item re-shipped, and this may also result in our not accepting future orders from you.

Here are some frequently asked questions about wire transfers:

Q: is my payment secure?
A: Yes. Wire transfer payments are just about the most secure method you can use to move funds from your account to someone else or a business. They are done ONLY at your direct instruction. No wire transfer payment can be repeated without your express permission (no recurring billing). The paperwork USA banks use to send payments by wire is somewhat lengthy, requiring you to visit a branch of your bank, provide identification, and sign a form. Some European banks allow wire transfers to be initiated by phone or the internet, but only as they develop new technologies to prevent fraud. Currently, USA based banks do not allow wire transfers to be initiated without SEEING the customer in person, thus eliminating the chance for fraud.

Q: Will it cost me anything extra to send a wire transfer?
A: For customers outside the EU, yes, probably. Most banks charge a small fee to send a wire transfer. This fee is in addition to the amount you are sending, and is often charged separately. Please contact your bank to find out what their fees are for sending a wire transfer. The sender of a wire does not have to pay the fee associated with receiving it, that is the responsibility of the recipient.

Q: How long does it take for you to get the money I have sent by wire?
A: Despite what you may have seen in Hollywood movies, the process of sending and receiving a wire transfer is NOT instant. It generally takes 1 business day (overnight processing) for payments from a Netherlands account. It generally takes 3-5 days for an EU initiated payment (the free payments, where no expedited processing has been ordered). It generally takes 2-4 days for a USA or Australia based bank payment. We have never seen it take more than a week for ANY country banking system, and we have received wires from Australia, Japan, USA, Canada, and various EU countries. You may want to ask your bank how long it generally takes. No one can give you an exact time, since the banking industry of your country and ours have to be involved. It is not likely that more than a week would go by without us receiving your payment, regardless of where it begins.

Q: Why must I send you money in Euro, this costs me more.
A: Our account is reconciled in Euro. If you were to send us a fixed amount in Dollars, Yen, Swiss Francs, etc, then we would receive LESS for our product. We apologize that currency rates change daily, but we require payment be made in Euro. If you prefer to send cash, you are welcome to do so.
